Maseru to Bloemfontein

2 hours on a national highway.  Hectic sandstorm.  Beat the rain.  Lots of Afrikaans.  Lots of ANC.  Lots of racial tension.  Too many police.  Min graffiti.

Highlight of Bloem was visiting Cheetah Experience.  A farm focusing on the conservation and breeding of the endangered Cheetah.

Johannesburg to Maseru

100cc scooter.  9 hours.  430km (of which 100km was dirt road).  3 near crashes.  A city with no road names.  Overpriced 'backpackers'.  Friendly people.  Getting caught in an afternoon thundershower.  A beautiful sunset over the lake outside my room.  Painting what used to be the old stables for the police horses.

My time in Maseru (Capital of Lesotho) is done.

Vakansie by die see...

Made a little train mission to my hometown Durban (located in the green luscious province of Kwa-Zulu Natal) for a few days last week.  Here's some of the stuff I saw.
